On the bright and beautiful Saturday morning of May 25th at 7:30am, 30 Mustangs arrived at City Ford to take part in their first ever Mustang Drive Day. A bonus of having your Mustang serviced at City Ford (whether it was purchased there or not) is the opportunity to be part of their Mustang Drivers Club.

Designed by Michael McCauley, the head of City Ford Service, the Mustang Drive Day saw owners take their ponies from the dealership and service centre in Alexandria through the Royal National Park before stopping at Stanwell Tops for some breath-taking views and a chat with other club members. From there they headed down the Coast Rd and Coal Cliff Drive to arrive and Albion Park Rail before heading up Macquarie Pass to Robinson and across to Fitzroy Falls and the amazing scenery of Kangaroo Valley.

The drive finished at around 11:30am at Betty’s Bar for a delicious lunch after 164km drive that took in as many turns and twists as possible to put these high-performance vehicles through their paces. Overall the day was a wonderful success and Michael is looking forward to organising another similar event later this year. Please register your interest to avoid missing out as places are limited.
